Basic teardown
and reassembly of a Spyder paintball gun/marker
By Kingmman factory representative
Today were
going to show you how to remove all of the Internals of a Spyder paintball
marker, and also reassemble. The easiest way to do it is to remove the
disconnect pin from the marker. Then as you remove the larger pin make
sure you hold the back end in place cause there is a spring in there
and the spring tension will shoot the internals out the back. Slide
everything out the back of the marker, now your spyder has been disassembled.
If you notice on the bolt after some use you will see some wear and
tear on the top portion you do not need to worry, it will not affect
the performance of the marker. The reason it has wear on there is as
the bolt sits inside the marker air is coming from in the valve up into
the bolt, the bolt will pivot up as it is sliding forward causing the
scratches on the bolt and also on the inside of the marker, it will
not affect the performance, it will not affect the flight of the paintball
so you do not need to worry about it. Now were going to show you how
to reassemble the parts. You connect the striker to the venturi bolt
, slide everything back into the marker. On basically all of our spyder
markers you will notice that it will stop, what it is the striker is
getting caught on the sear in order to get the internals in all you
have to do is apply a little bit of pressure and just pull the trigger
and it will slide in the goes for the electronic markers and the non
electric. If you notice this black rubber bumper is called the striker
bumper, always have the in the back behind the striker a common mistake
by people is to put it in front of the striker which actually lowers
your velocity and causes re-cocking problems. Just put the spring and
the spring guide in through the back and the striker plug holds everything
in. Place the disconnect pin back into the marker. Now your Spdyer marker
is reassembled.

Regulator Adjusment
By Kingman
factory Representative
Right now I would like to show you how to adjust the regulator on you
Spyder paintball marker. If you look at the gauge right next to it is
the adjustment screw take the Allen wrench that is provided with the
marker, put it in, turn the screw out to raise the pressure. On most
of the markers, they require 800 psi to work properly. As you turn the
screw out the regulator will go up. If you need to lower pressure in
the marker, turn the screw in. You need to shoot the marker after every
adjustment to get the correct pressure on the gauge.

Velocity Adjustment
Today I
will like to show you how to adjust the velocity on a Spyder paintball
marker. If you notice we have two different velocity adjustment screws
on our Spyder markers. The first one seen here on our Spyder shutter
is the thumb adjuster. Turn the velocity screw clockwise to raise the
velocity, turn the velocity screw counter clockwise and it will lower
the velocity. Once you have the velocity set at about 280 fps by the
chronograph, use the Allen wrench that is provided and tighten down
the screw which will lock the velocity screw to prevent moving while
you are playing. The other type of velocity adjustment screw is on the
Spyder Spree. You have to use the large Allen wrench that is provided
with the marker insert it into the screw, once again you turn the velocity
screw clockwise to raise the velocity and you turn the screw counter
clockwise to lower the velocity. Once again you should have it set at
around 280 fps. That is how you adjust the velocity on our Spyder paintball
markers.

Disconnect Hose
Removal & Re-Installation
Right now
I would like to show how to disconnect a hose on a Spyder paintball
marker. If you look, you have the large female end that is connected
to the male adapter . What you need to do is you need to loosen the
end in order to disconnect the hose. Do not loosen the inner nuts from
the female nut the separation of these two will damage the hose and
cause an air leak . You will need to replace the hose in order to stop
the leak. Once you remove the larger female nut from the larger male
to male adapter there is a small white plastic oring in here that works
as a washer to help prevent air leaks, check that and make sure there
are no scratches or foreign objects in there. Now that you removed the
disconnect hose from the male adapter, once you are ready to put it
back on just attach it back to the male adapter and tighten the hose.
That is how you remove and re-install the disconnect hose on a Spyder
paintball marker
